Large bouquet of flowers in white, pink and violet shades of delphinium, phlox and fern in glass vase in front of dark blue patterned wallpaper, somewhat impasto still life painting in beautiful strong colours and lively brushwork, oil on canvas, beginning of 20th century, signed lower left "E. Witte", partly damaged label on the reverse "Eduard ...tte.... Blumenstilleben", minor injuries to the surface of the painting layer, somewhat retouched, framed, folding dimensions approx. 81 x 65 cm. Artist info: Austrian painter (born 1871 Vienna), participated in the exhibitions of the Vereinigung Bildender Künstler Österreichs Secession in Vienna in 1906 and 1914, source: Internet.
