large thatched Black Forest house by a small stream, fruit trees in blossom in the garden, with a chain of hills in the background, somewhat impasto painting in muted colours, oil on canvas, mid-20th c., signed "T. Miltz" lower right, inscribed "Taubert" on the reverse of the canvas, partial craquelure, partial loss of painting layer, somewhat in need of restoration and cleaning, framed, folding dimensions approx. 60 x 79.5 cm.
