Artist's info: actually Wilhelm Friedrich Kuh, called himself after the maiden name of his mother Mathilde Owen "Wilhelm Kuh-Owen", German portrait, animal and landscape painter, watercolourist, illustrator and lithographer (1886 Berlin to 1967 Garmisch-Partenkirchen), lived in Rathenow near Berlin, first military career, studied from 1912 at the Munich Academy with Heinrich von Zügel, 1914-18 in the Bavarian army took part in WW1.
