colourful female nude with black contours, strongly impastoed, glossy painting with dynamic brush lettering, acrylic or oil on canvas and stretcher, late 20th c., signed and locally inscribed "Peter Keil Berlin" at lower left, inscribed, signed and locally inscribed "Heidi Klum Modenschau im KaDeWe Berlin, Peter Keil Berlin" on the reverse, minimal partial shrinkage cracks, unframed, dimensions approx. 180.5 x 100 cm. Artist info: actually Peter Robert Keil, German painter and sculptor. Painter and sculptor (born 1942 in Züllichau/Pomerania), childhood in Berlin-Wedding, from 1954 pupil of Otto Nagel, first from 1954 apprenticeship as a metalworker, 1959-61 studies at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Berlin-Charlottenburg, afterwards stays with Joan Miró on Mallorca, representative of the "Junge Wilden" and the "Hippie movement" of the 1960s and 1970s, member of the Bund Bildender Künstler Berlins, active in Zimmerau, Berlin, London, Paris and Los Angeles (Hollywood), source: Wikipedia and internet homepage of the artist.
