Two prima ballerinas, one of them probably the famous Virginia Zucchi, bright, study-like depiction incorporating the colour of the grounding, oil on canvas, mid-20th century, signed at the bottom "Vitti D. Giovanni", inscribed on the reverse of the stretcher, partly illegibly, "Vitti Di Giovanni Preparing to Perform Prima Ballerinas Ge... Zucchi", beautifully framed in gold stucco frame, folding dimensions approx. 40 x 50 cm.
