colourful, busy goings-on at the lakeside with boats, horse-drawn carts and herds of cattle against a backdrop of summer landscape and houses, little impasto, richly detailed painting in friendly colours, oil on wood, 19th cent, unsigned, craquelures, partial wrinkling, slight loss of paint layer, somewhat plastered and retouched, in need of cleaning, framed in gold stucco moulding, folding dimensions approx. 24 x 30.5 cm.
