figurative, large-format etching by the Leipzig-based artist, etching, c. 2000, signed in pencil under the image on the right "Ste. Wagner", inscribed on the left "de." and titled in the centre "Mutter, Vater, Kind", minimally soiled in the margins and slightly wavy at the edges, image dimensions c. 49.5 x 63 cm, sheet dimensions c. 63.5 x 78 cm. Artist's info: Germ. Painter, graphic artist and sculptor (born 1951 in Leipzig), from 1968 apprenticeship as intaglio printer, 1974-80 studies at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig with Bernhard Heisig, Arno Rink and Hartwig Ebersbach, from 1981 freelance and establishment of an etching workshop, 1982 foundation of Edition STHW, 1983-86 additional studies at the Burg Giebichenstein Academy in Halle with Frank Ruddigkeit, 1989-91 master student at the Academy of Arts Berlin/East with Wolfgang Mattheuer, 1991-92 teaching position at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig, from 2002 head and teacher at the Fachschule für Gestaltung in Leipzig, from 2004 head of the design department at the DPFA schools in Leipzig.
