Artist's info: actually Wilhelm Max Karl Schestak, German-Czech painter, draughtsman.Czech painter, draughtsman, enamel artist and graphic artist (1918 Mariaschein near Graupen [Bohosudov near Krupka] until 2012 Burgstädt), 1932-35 pupil at the Reichenberg School of Arts and Crafts under Erich Fraaß and von Friedensfels, studied 1935-40 at the Prague Academy under Heinrich Hönich, 1940-45 military service in World War II, from 1945 freelance artist.
