View into a dense fir forest, watercolour on light cardboard, signed and dated lower right "J. Richter 2007", on the reverse dedication in lead and on adhesive tape various notations, unframed, sheet dimensions approx. 28.5 x 35.7 cm. Artist's info: German painter and graphic artist (born 1936 in Lobendau), 1950-52 apprenticeship as machine fitter, 1962-63 pupil of Carl Michel's painting and drawing school in Zwickau, from 1963 promoted by Edgar Klier, Klaus Matthäi and Lothar Breetzke, largely self-taught, from 1967 member of the VBK of the GDR, member of the Zwickau Art Association and the Saxon Artists' Association, active in Zwickau, participation in numerous exhibitions, source: Eisold "Künstler in der DDR" and Internet.
