consisting of one acrylic engraving signed by hand "Exlibris Herfurth für Herfurth", 2009, number "56/125", dimensions approx. 14 x 10 cm, ten acrylic engravings on different subjects and sizes (partly double), unsigned and two etchings, unsigned, dimensions approx. 30 x 21 cm. Artist's info: Germ. Painter, graphic artist and commercial artist (born 1944 in Wiese/Silesia), until 1959 in Lucka in Thuringia, 1960 moved to Leipzig, 1960-62 apprenticeship as offset retoucher, 1962-64 securities technician, studied 1964-69 at the HGB Leipzig under Wolfgang Mattheuer, 1972-74 aspirant and assistant at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, 1974-77 master student at the HGB with Albert Kapr, member of the VBK of the GDR, exhibited at the art exhibitions of the GDR and numerous national and international exhibitions, received numerous honours, among others the Art Prize of the City of Leipzig in 1983. a. 1983 Art Prize of the City of Leipzig, several prizes at the International Book Art Exhibition Leipzig, several times "Most Beautiful Books", 1990 Hans Baltzer Prize, 1995 Hans Meid Prize, from 1990 member of the Association of German Graphic Designers, active in Leipzig, source: Eisold "Künstler in der DDR" and Internet.
