Five yellow tulips in a patterned earthenware jug on a checked tablecloth, beside them a cloth and a small vessel, harmonious watercolour painting in harmonious colours, watercolour and pencil on paper, 1st half 20th century, signed lower right "f F. Steinert", framed behind glass, mount cut-out approx. 57 x 40.5 cm. Artist info: German painter and graphic artist (1891 Friedrichsfelde to 1981), pupil of Emil Orlik in Berlin, co-founder of the artist group "Die Sieben", source: Thieme-Becker, Internet.
