Sheet with numerous street scenes such as horse-drawn carriages, riders, passers-by and street sweepers, ink pen, c. 1910, signed and dedicated on both sides "Kley für M. Koch", browned and wavy, mounted between two glass panes (one pane cracked), dimensions c. 30 x 25 cm. Artist info: Germ. Painter, draughtsman, etcher and illustrator (1863 Karlsruhe to 1945 Munich), 1880-85 studied at the Karlsruhe Art School, from 1901 he supplied templates for postcards for the Krupp cast steel factory in Essen, in the following years also worked as an industrial painter for various companies such as Voith, Grün & Bilfinger and MAN, contributor to Simplicissimus and Jugend, ended cooperation with all publishers when Hitler seized power, source: Thieme-Becker, Vollmer and Wikipedia.
