Omer Berber, Oriental with Cock
bearded elderly man with his gaze directed towards the viewer and holding a cock in the air in his left hand, elaborate mixed media (opaque colours, gold leaf, partly scratched and wiped) on cardboard, c. 1990, partly illegibly hand-signed in the depiction "...Berber", framed behind glass, folding dimensions approx. 53 x 75 cm. Artist's info: Bosnian painter and architect (born 1948 in Banja Luka), studied architecture in Ljubljana, and further artistic training with his brother, member of ULUBiH since 1971, numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, lives and works in Bolzano/Italy, source: Internet.
