Gleichnis", image dimensions approx. 38,5 x 54,5 cm, sheet dimensions approx. 56,5 x 78,5 cm. Artist's info: German graphic artist (1926 Dresden - 1991 Berlin), 1943-48 war service and imprisonment, 1948-49 work as a new teacher, 1949-53 studies of art education and geography at the Technical University of Dresden, the University of Leipzig and the Humboldt University of Berlin among others. with Reinhold Langner and Hermann Bruse, from 1953 scientific assistant at the Humboldt University Berlin, 1957 doctorate, studied 1962-65 at the HBK Berlin-Weißensee with Heinrich Burkhardt and Fritz Dähn, from 1966 member of the VBK of the GDR, from 1966 lecturer at the Humboldt University, 1971 appointed associate professor, co-editor of the series "Junge-Welt-Grafik" (Young World Graphics), from 1979 professor at Humboldt University Berlin, regular study visits to Lusatia, exhibited at the art exhibitions of the GDR and other national and international exhibitions, active in Berlin , source: Eisold "Künstler in der DDR" and Internet.
