Sheet with four scenes from Gulliver's Travels, etching in dark green, signed and dated in pencil below the depictions on the right "M. Hausmann (19)74" as well as inscribed and titled on the left "Vorzugsdruck "Gullivers Reisen" Swift", splendid print with beautiful plate tone, etching dimensions each approx. 16,7 x 15 cm, sheet dimensions approx. 53,5 x 45 cm. Artist info: Germ. Painter and graphic artist (born 1944 in Meiningen), apprenticeship as locomotive fitter, 1964-68 studied at the Erfurt College of Education, 1969-74 studied at the Leipzig College of Graphic Arts and Book Art with Rolf Kuhrt and Werner Tübke, from 1974 freelance, 1974-77 master student with Walter Womacka at the Berlin-Weißensee College of Art, numerous exhibitions and participation in exhibitions, active in Meiningen, Source: Eisold "Künstler in der DDR" and Internet presence of the Verband bildender Künstler Thüringen e.V.
