Gorgeous bouquet of flowers in a vase, in front of a fantasy landscape with donkey and floating lovers, colourful colour lithograph on long-fibre paper, circa 1970, signed Marc Chagall below the image on the right and numbered 146/250 in lead on the left, somewhat brown-stained in the upper area, framed under passepartout and behind glass, image size approx. 69,8 x 57,5 cm. Artist info: civil name Moishe Zakharovich Shagalov, important Russian-French painter, graphic artist and sculptor of Jewish origin (1887 Liosno/Witebsk until 1985 Paul de Vence), pupil of the painter Jehuda Pen, 1907 at the Imperial Society for the Promotion of Arts St. Petersburg, 1908 private school Saidenschule St. Petersburg. Petersburg, 1908 public school Saidenberg and with Léon Bakst at the Swansewa School, from 1910 own studio in Paris, pioneer of Surrealism, famous for his mystical symbolism, active among others in Petersburg, Paris, Montrouge, USA, Source: Vollmer, Wikipedia and Internet.
