Three prints, Dwarfs and squirrels on the tree, coloured xylograph, mount cut-out ca. 23 x 18 cm; the painter in the countryside, surrounded by children, coloured line etching, mount cut-out ca. 17 x 22 cm and Flöte spielende Zwerge und Frösche, offset print, passepartout cut-out approx. 12 x17,5 cm, two works signed in the medium, once dated "(18)85", each framed under passepartout and behind glass. Artist's info: German faience painter, painter and illustrator (1849 Biebrich-Mosbach until 1923 Munich), first pupil of Kaspar Kögler in Wiesbaden, pupil of the Munich school of arts and crafts under Ferdinand Barth, studied from 1875 resp. 1876 at the Munich Academy under Wilhelm von Lindenschmit, member of the "Luitpoldgruppe", famous as "Munich gnome painter" for his depictions of gnomes and dwarfs (1878-1921), active in Munich and Wiesbaden, source: Thieme-Becker, Internet, matriculation register of the Munich Academy and detailed article in the "Sammler-Journal 8/2007".
