Plan of a conclave in the Vatican
In the upper part a curtain cartouche carried by angels with a partial plan of the Vatican, in the lower part a bird's-eye view of Rome with St. Peter's Basilica, St. Peter's Square, Castel Sant'Angelo and below the view a papal procession, laterally in 14 representations with the stations of a papal election, copperplate engraving, 1st half 18th cent, traces of folding, somewhat unevenly browned, framed under passepartout and behind glass, dimensions of depiction approx. 37 x 47.5 cm.
