Artist info: German sculptress and women's rights activist (1879 Worms to 1967 Darmstadt), studied in Ludwig Habich's sculpture class from 1901, thus was one of the first female representatives in the plastic arts in Germany, then resident in Darmstadt, travelled to Paris for studies and studied at the Académie Colarossi, taught modelling courses in her own studio in Berlin-Grunewald from 1908 to 1917, later residing in Darmstadt again, several times exhibited at the Great German Art Exhibition in Munich, was a member of the Association of German and Austrian Women Artists and Art Lovers.
