Goldscheider Vienna Girl Alabaster
Designed by János Petrides in 1913/14, signed Petri on the verso, round plaque on the bottom with the inscription Friedrich Goldscheider Paris, Vienna, Leipzig, model number 4632 F. 38, alabaster partially coloured, standing little girl with book and broken slate on a landscape base, in good condition for age, h 22 cm. Artist's info: Hungarian sculptor (1861 Lemberg to ?), probably studied in Vienna, worked for the Goldscheider manufactory and probably also for Zsolnay Pecs. Source: museumek/eu.
