Artist's info: Austrian painter, sculptor and woodcutter (1894 Vienna to 1945 Swinemünde), studied with Henry van de Velde and Gottlieb Elster at the Weimar School of Art, trained further in Munich, ran his own publishing house as a graphic artist, worked mainly as a designer for porcelain sculpture, among others for Rosenthal, Hutschenreuther, Heubach, Fraureuth, Lichte and the Schwarzburger Werkstätten, active in Berlin, source: Thieme-Becker, Vollmer and Dressler.
