18th century, on the bottom two uninterpreted hallmarks IL in oval and AR?, silver tested, footed jug with bulbous body, bulging mouth rim, curved handle of ebonised wood, above hinged lid with flower-shaped knob, engraved ornamental bands, volutes and rocailles, signs of age and wear, minimally dented, h approx. 18 cm, g approx. 258 g.
