Large baroque wall tile
probably Nuremberg, mid 18th c., reddish faience with fine cobalt blue painting on a whitish background, depicting the great mother of the gods Kybele with lion and cornucopia as well as a putto lying on the side in an ideal landscape, surrounded by rocaille and shell motifs, unframed, some age craquelé and small glaze chips on the rim, dimensions H 37 x W 29 x D 3 cm.
