Meissen "Poultry Trader"
from a series "Paris Crier" of 34 figures, designed by Peter Reinicke 1753-1754, underglaze blue sword mark after 1948, 1. choice, incised model number 60222, Bossierer number with year mark for 1978 and brush number 73, naturalistic moulding with fine polychrome underglaze and onglaze painting and gold staffage, man standing on rocaille base with tree trunk support, holding two pheasants and a basket with eggs, good condition, h 14 cm.
