Meissen "Hungarian Grenadier Piper"
Designed by Johann Joachim Kändler and associates in 1752, underglaze blue pommel sword mark 1860-1924, 1st choice, incised model number 1737, mint number 93 and brush number 43. Choice, incised model number 1737, mint number 93 and brush number 43, naturalistic moulding with polychrome underglaze and overglaze painting and gold staffage, soldier in parade uniform playing music standing on rocailles base, rare figure, flute tip and left hand expertly restored, h 15.5 cm.
