Meissen pair of gardener's children
"Gardener's child with hoe and basket" as well as "Gardener's child with staff and fruit" from a series of 80 figures, designed by Johann Joachim Kändler 1750-1760, underglaze blue sword marks after 1948, 1st choice, incised model number 11 resp. 60349 as well as embossed bossing numbers with partly indistinct year mark, naturalistic design with fine polychrome underglaze and overglaze painting as well as gold staffage, girl or boy standing on rocaille base in rococo manner, girl minimally expertly restored or handle of hoe neatly glued, h 14 and 12 cm.
