Meissen "Snake-handled Vase"
Designed by Ernst August Leuteritz in 1861, underglaze blue sword mark after 1948, 1st choice, incised model number E116. choice, incised model number E116, Bossierer number 80 with year mark for 1958 as well as brushed decor number, two-piece screwed amphora vase with round foot and two high set handles in form of two plastic snake pairs winding out of acanthus leaves, richly decorated with ornamental friezes in relief in classicistic style and on both sides decor "Blumenbukett" resp. "Blume 2" in fine polychrome onglaze painting as well as gold decoration, this partially minimally rubbed, otherwise in good condition, h 38 cm.
