Karlsruhe Bowl with Three Cherubs
Designed by Max Heinze 1936-1940, signed, relief mark and model number 4633, majolica with pastel-toned running glazes, of three-passage domed form with a central spiral in relief in the mirror, on the rim alternating three modelled trefoil groups and three sculpted kneeling cherubs, the latter raising the bowl backwards, good condition for age, h 13 cm, D 35 cm.
