Rosenthal shell vase with mermaid
Designed by Max Hiller circa 1900, signed, gold mark with addition Kronach circa 1900, embossing number RG6, partly green-blue marbled, lasciviously glazed and gold decorated, body in the form of an upright standing sea snail with a four-pass foot and surrounding seaweed relief, sitting on the shoulder a plastic art nouveau beauty as a half nude with divided tail, rare vase, gilding partially rubbed and one tail tip bumped, otherwise very good condition, h 26,5 cm.
