Meissen "Child with picture book, small"
so-called Hentschel child as paperweight, design Konrad Hentschel 1904-1905, unglazed base with blue pommel sword mark 1860-1924, 1st choice, incised model no. U.143.., embossed bossier number 132 and brush number 4, naturalistic design in porcelain with pastel coloured underglaze painting, a toddler sitting on a flat round plinth, holding an open leporello with scenes from Hoffmann's Struwwelpeter on his lap, good condition, h 7,5 cm.
