The good doctor, a useful picture book for children and parents, by Max Nassauer, pictures by Hellmut Maison, 3rd edition, Verlag Braun & Schneider Munich, c. 1910, size Gr. 4°, 31 pp. with 14 full-page hand-coloured art nouveau illustrations, in original half cloth binding with mounted cover illustration, partly slightly stained copy with handwritten annotation in the endpaper, otherwise in good condition for age, the Struwwelpeteriade of the poet doctor is considered to be the first modern medical picture book for children and is still a classic in this field of children's literature, Source: Internet.
