Framed sampler with horse motif
monogrammed and dated L.S 1888, square canvas sampler with woven colour stripe and red border all around, filling polychrome cross stitch embroidery as two alphabet and one number sequence with ornamental bands in the upper half, including numerous floral and figural motifs such as flowers, crowing cock and jockey with horse, old framed behind glass and wide wooden border, stamped Franz Hermes Capellen-Stelzenfels (Koblenz), good condition for age, dimensions cloth 34 x 32 cm.
