Russia, late 19th century, inscribed in Church Slavonic, tempera on a simple hardwood panel, depicting Mary in the type of the Hodegetria, the Christ child as a standing full figure in the gesture of blessing on her left, elaborate gilded metal ochre in relief with indicated Kovcheg, nimbus missing, rubbed, traces of age, dimensions 23 x 18 cm.
