Österreich, um 1900. Keramik, heller Scherben. Grüne, irisierende Glasur. Unter dem Stand eingepresst: 21005 (Modellnr.) und M. H. 25,8 cm. - Lit.: Gysling Billeter Zürich 1975 - Objekte des Jugendstils im KGW Museum Zürich Bentele Verlag Bern. S. 246 Kat. Nr. 451. - Prov.: Privatsammlung. Karl Gross (1869 Fürstenfeldbruck - 1934 Dresden). Bildhauer, Goldschmied und Designer. Studium an der Kunstgewerbeschule in München. Seit 1898 in Dresden ansässig. 1900 Professor an der Akademie ebenda, ab 1914 deren Direktor. Meissen erwarb 1904-1906 drei Gefäß-Modelle von Gross. - Zustand: Oberfläche vereinzelt fleckig.
