Buddha Shakyamuni, China, Qing dynasty(1644-1911), 19th century, brass body with elaborate cloisonné enamel, the historical Buddha Siddharta Gautama carries in his hands the alms bowl in front of him, the Buddha body shines golden(compare mahalakshana Nr.12), aesthetics of the 5 Buddhist colors is processed in the cell melting decor: the mantle robe(skrt. samgathi) with vine work and treasure flowers in the blue spectrum from lapis lazuli to ultramarine, the belly apron(skrt. antarvasa) in yellow, the seat of the lotus throne in green, its side surface in white, the decorative flowers everywhere in coral red, previously: Lempertz Auction Asian Art 7./8.6.2019 LOT Nr.672, 31x19x15cm, 1512g
