So-called. Congratulatory plate with gourd vine work, China, Qing dynasty(1644-1911), 2nd half 18th c., Porcelain with bluish shiny transparent glaze, polychrome on and under glaze painting and enamel colors in green, cobalt blue, iron red and yellow, in the center auspicious peach(tao) with the bat(fu) adorned by lush vegetal tendrils of flowering and fruit bearing gourd(gua), revealing three viewing windows on the character for happiness(xi), reverse with abstracted bats, signed with mark on bottom, 18x3cm
