Temptation of Christ, the four-piece lid with four relief medallions with two kneeling praying figures each referring to the fully plastic Babylonian whore on the 7-headed monster, on the back of the figure the relief coat of arms of the founders Heinrich Witzendorff and Elisabeth Töbing, inside the lid the coat of arms of the purchasers Franz Witzendorff and Ursula Garlop, in 1874 the Prussian state with the help of the director of the Gewerbemuseum Berlin Julius Lessing bought the silver treasure for 220 000 thalers from Lüneburg, but the condition was that Berlin would produce replicas at its own expense.
