Johann Michael Bossard (1874-1950), Swiss sculptor and graphic artist of the Art Nouveau period, studied in Berlin and was, among others, a master student of Arthur Kampf. In 1906 he received the commission for the artistic interior design of the Hotel Adlon. ''Meerwarte'', from the cycle ''Das Jahr'' comprising a total of 53 sheets, colour lithograph on wove paper (papier vélin), 1921, one of 50 copies, signed by hand at the bottom right, sheet measures approx. 56 x 74 cm.
Johann Michael Bossard (1874-1950), schweizer Bildhauer und Grafiker des Jugendstils, studierte in Berlin und war u.a. Meisterschüler bei Arthur Kampf. 1906 erhielt er den Auftrag zur künstlerischen Innengestaltung des Hotels Adlon. ''Meerwarte'', aus dem insgesamt 53 Blatt umfassenden Zyklus ''Das Jahr'', Farblithographie auf Velin, 1921, eines von 50 Exemplaren, u. re. handsign., Blattmaße ca. 56 x 74 cm
