Bronze, black patina, archer, nude in an exciting pose after shooting an arrow, draft 1884, oval base plate with artist's inscription. and foundry information Gladenbeck Berlin, black-green marbled base, total height approx. 39 cm, late 19th century/around 1900, the artist received the gold medal in Melbourne in 1889 for the design of the archer motif inspired by antiquity, it is six copies in different Versions known, master student of Reinhold Begas, from 1892 own studio in Berlin, member of the Berlin Secession
