Amphora handle with Gorgoneion. Roman, 2nd - 3rd century AD. Height 15,4cm. Bronze cast. The upper end of the handle shaped as a griffin protome, the lower one with the winged Medusa's head. The handle is decorated with a stem. Details like the eyes inlaid in silver and partially gilded. Green and red-brown patina, paws of the griffon are missing.
