Information:
Фабрика Гарднера в с. Вербилки Дмитровского уезда Московской губернии была основана Францем Гарднером в 1766 году. «Поставщик Двора Его Императорского Величества» с 1856 года. С 1829 года на фабрике Гарднера начался выпуск фаянсовой посуды, позднее из опака (фаянс высшего качества). С 1860-х гг. фабрика ориентировалась на выпуск недорогой чайной и столовой посуды массового характера; также расширился выпуск статуэток «простонародных» персонажей, появились сюжеты из крестьянского быта.
