Ca. 3100 - 2900 BC. A carved stone stamp seal with circular form and slightly convex faces. Each side is engraved with an image of a stylised bird with a body filled with parallel hatching.Size: 28mm x 28mm; Weight: 7gProvenance: Property of a London gallery; formerly with a Mayfair Art dealer S.A.; Ex. 1990s London collections, suggested to be studied by professor Lambert in the early 90s. Previously in an old British collection formed since the 1960s.
